ComDot – She Likes …

ComDot readies the release of his Pushn Dope EP with the first single “She Likes …”:

“She likes to bump our shit!” ComDot proudly proclaims on the lead single to his upcoming Pushn Dope EP.  “She Likes …” is a classic hip-hop anthem with a solid beat and catchy hook that can be sang by even the most unfamiliar crowd.  Adding to the golden-age feel of the track, Com breaks it down w/ the beat box as an unnamed femmcee busts a few lines.   Com Dizzle is here to get you right with the sound “She Likes …”.

Grey Granite & Oreo Jones – Turn It On (Prod. by El Carnicero)

Grey Granite and El Carnicero’s journey to Pixelated Lazer Face Bass Monster continues with second single “Turn It On” featuring Oreo Jones:

Grey Granite – Turn It On ft. Oreo Jones by HeavyGun

Picking up where “Not A Robot” left off, Grey Granite and El Carnicero roll out their second singe from Pixelated Lazer Face Bass Monster “Turn It On” featuring Heavy Gunner Oreo Jones. “Turn It On” is a pure party jam with a bouncy beat and psychedelic synths that compels the listener to have a good time and dance. Both Grey and Oreo bring their spit game on this one. Grey is at home rhyming about his love of High Life, women and parties. And Oreo doesn’t care because he “ain’t got no underwear.” Pixelated Lazer Face Bass Monster is coming this summer!

Over the past couple of years, Grey Granite has consistently distinguished himself from other vocalists by perpetually reinventing his style and jumping on anything that catches his interest. Starting with his legendary Amplifies the Killers project to his recent immaculate album Lust Poisons Pride, Grey has been one of the few artists in the Midwest to successfully go left and follow his sonic dreams. His creativity has recently garnered the support of Kick Kick Snare, Ruby Hornet, Loyal KNG, Noise Porn, Nuvo, and Musical Family Tree and several other media outlets. Now with his partner J. Brookinz, the duo have launched Heavy Gun Recordings and are beginning next portion of their journey.

The man behind the crazy production on PLFBM is the one an only El Carnicero. El Carnicero aka the Butcher aka Aaron Berg has been solidifying his name as master of heavy bass for the past several years. In the mid 2000s as grime was making it’s way across the Atlantic to the States, El Carnicero teamed up with Philly based producers Starkey and Dev79 to form the now infamous Slit Jockey Records. In the past, the Butcher has produced tracks for Doodlebug of Digable Planets, Warrior Queen, and RikoDan of the Roll Deep Crew. Beyond his recent work with Grey, Aaron is currently working on a new project with New York rapper Elucid entitled CapricornOne.

NightRiders – Jump Off The Planet

The NightRiders, Bob G Barker and Jam P Astro, drop the second single off of their upcoming release Passports & Paparazzi:

Some movements just can’t be contained on Earth and “Jump Off The Planet”.  Enter the NightRiders, the definition of a dynamic duo.  “Jump Off The Planet” is the second single off of their upcoming EP Passports & Paparazzi and follow up to “Don’t Get Me Wrong” on Heavy Gun Recordings.  Their new song mixes an interstellar beat with the spit game of two top-shelf lyricists.

Bob G. Barker and Jam P. Astro formed the NightRiders in 2008 shortly after meeting in Indianapolis.  Bob G. Barker was already a veteran of emcee of the group Knox Haven, so when he met Jam P., a producer and rapper, it was like planets colliding.  Bob G. Barker is a master of the classic leisurely flow, and Jam P. Astro has the perfectly complimenting quick tongue.  The pair seamlessly transition between the club and the street.

NightRiders – Don’t Get Me Wrong

The NightRiders, Bob G Barker and Jam P Astro, drop the first single off of their upcoming release Jump Off the World:

We’ve all met that girl with a ridiculous body but had a busted face.  With their new banger “Don’t Get Me Wrong”, the NightRiders encourage you to jump on it.  The track features humorous verses, clever rhymes, a hot hook, and an infectious club beat.  The track saw a little bit of exposure last summer after an early release, but now its ready for the exposure it truly deserved.  If you’ve never been sold on messing with a but-her-face (pronounced “butter face”), you will be after a listen of this tune.

The NightRiders are a new collaboration between veteran emcees Bob G. Barker and Jam P. Astro.  Their official debut release Jump Off The World is set to drop later this summer on Heavy Gun Recordings.

Today is the world premier of the music video for the remix of Grey Granite & J. Brookinz’s single “Colorful Mask” ft. alpha.live:

A few weeks back, Grey Granite made a bit of a stir with the remix of his electropop hit “Colorful Mask” featuring the talented emcee alpha.live. The track was featured on Kick Kick Snare, Ruby Hornet, Loyal KNG, Noise Porn, Nuvo, and Musical Family Tree. Within days, Grey put together a concept for a music video and linked up with a videographer to bring the concept to life. Having grown up during the original freestyle walking movement in the 90s, the musician decided to take the world on a freestyle-walking tour of his city, Indianapolis. As you can see in the video, Indy is like every other city in the world–everyone wears a colorful mask.
